Orlando Pirates and Cape Town City clash postponed due to severe weather

CAPE TOWN – The first leg of the MTN8 Semi-final between Cape Town City and Orlando Pirates, scheduled for Tuesday night has been postponed.
The match has been put on hold and moved to Wednesday night due to severe weather conditions in the Western Cape.
The decision to postpone the match was made following advice from the City of Cape Town authorities and stadium management, who reported gale-force winds averaging speeds of 67 km/h.
The adverse weather has led to collapsed buildings, blocked roads due to fallen trees, and impacted the DHL Stadium facilities.
Ticket holders have been advised to keep their current tickets, as they will remain valid for the rescheduled fixture.
